Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was an athlete and captain of 2012's Fierce Five and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold medals in team competitions as well as the floor exercises. In the balance beam, she received a bronze. It made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to earn the most medals. She took gold in the team competition at the 2016 Olympics and also made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to win back-to-back golds. She also won two silver medals, one for the floor exercise as well as the individual all-around. After the 2 Olympics she took off from gymnastics competition for three years. The gold medal she won for the American team also won the two World Championships. Her first experience with gymnastics began at age of two and her most loved activity is Floor Exercise. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who passed away from cancer. She is planning to create a profession from fashion. It is also her dream to extend her leotards line and her socks. Fierce is a novel she is writing will come out this year.
